The young boy looked around himself, and he realized there never had been a door.
The ancient Koan, that at first sight seemed so obscure, was now obvious, and of intense clarity.
It was in this very spring afternoon that he, for the first time experienced the true nature of non-duality.
In the pale light, he raised his hand and looked at his palm bathing in the ether of vacuity.
And from the core of his chanting soul slowly rose the psalm, ephemeral and permanent melody.
The sound of the one hand clapping.
And his heart filled with joy and subtle amazement, as for the first time he could feel.
The drift of the present, the sound of the movement, the slide of the moment.
The sound of the one hand clapping.

(Oh) in the woods, far out of sight
Is a man craving for space,
And on his quest to the upright
Slowing down the pace
(Oh) running through the night
The pilgrim follows the laces
When suddenly in the moonlight
The dome unveils its holy shape
(Oh) meet the ruin, of the devil the mount
And of war and greed the trace
Of chaos and sins the mark
And the shepherd bears the weight
(Oh) driven in the dark,
The Ecclesiastes abides by his faith
Determined to heal the wrath
And of the tower takes the stairs
See the world parted in the wide
The lone door to an opener mind
The cupola's call soon to be answered
Up from the dome, by the void defied
Ascend the stairs and meet the giants
And with a scream break the silence
(Oh) on the road, back to the light
Is a man that has found peace
And on his quest to the upright
Will remember the path

M.ONDE - Alice

This one goes to Stahnsdorf
She kind of remembered a bus,
One might have taken her out of town
No she couldn’t have come here on her own
And she could swear there had just been a city as
The sight of the woman and her wings
Put a smile on her startled face
For none of her petrified feathers
Would move in the gentle wind
Oh Alice where have you gone
Was the rabbit whole so deep?
Oh Alice where have you gone?
There’s your name on a grave
She washed herself at the fountain
Ablutions by the weeping willows
Her wet dress contrasted in its stainth
With the white light and the birches’ shadow
She walked to the wooden chapel
Over the purple heather field
The bells ringing calling her mass
Dazed an dazzled in the perspective
(Chorus)
She took the backdoor of the church
The path that leads you to the priestesses
Guardians of the souls of the ancients
With all the old gods of the greeks
The trinity’s altar drew a scent of smoke and of incense
She wandered alone alongside the long lines of tombs
On the northern knight’s orders kneeled before the sword
And to the black angel showed penitence
Auf der
Wahrheitsperipherie drängt
Rastlos der Forscher
Aber der Radius ist Leidens unendlicher
Weg
Oh Alice what have you done?
There’s your name on a grave

M.ONDE - Full Moon Rise

( He was now standing on the roof. One of the first of these moments, in which the Dream of the world seems to quieten. And the weight on his shoulders slowly vanished with the late summer’s warm wind. The sun was setting on the old town, and the dance of the swifts could divert him in that instant.
Slowly, as if carried by the breeze over the land to the White City, rose the clamour of the Call to Prayer. The Maghrib, of the evening, of the west.
Gazing in the colors of the sunset, that’s when he saw it, bathing in the minarets’ polyphony, his first Full Moon Rise )
—
And I keep feelin’ it coming
From far below the horizon
And I keep feelin’ it growing
Throughout the four seasons
Choose the spot, spot the hill or pick any skyscraper
Cut fences, sever locks for the encounter
Ascend to the advent and cherish the hatch
See the sunset west then turn east to watch
The full moon rise
And I keep watchin’ it glowing
Now far above the civilization
Come to the lunar pilgrimage
Of its silent revolution
Put the space into perspective
Ready for the sweet introspection
Receive the planetary directives
And enjoy the frequencies’ motion
Fathom how fast ego fades facing physics
Bringing the skyline into brand new metrics
View the lift of the veil on your solar plexus
Every once in a while submit to the exercise
Let your fears fall as you climb to the roof
Free yourself from the crowd and seek the distant point
Since of our importance there is no more proof
Lay back, slow down and witness
The full moon rise
We take too seldom the time to relativize our size in space, and these rituals give us powerful perspectives to look back on our roles and importance. So once in a month, people of Orphalese, climb as high as you can, and watch Selene rise!
